Our restaurant bizkaya is now closed
Unfortunately, we have to announce that Gusta GmbH, which has been running our catering business with passion and dedication since November 2024, has to cease operations.
bizkaya will remain closed with immediate effect. The reason for this is that the operators were unable to withstand the cost pressures associated with setting up another location. The high costs of energy, staff and food, combined with a rainy summer and cautious consumer behaviour, have unfortunately led to a premature end.
Both the bizkaya team and the team at the Schlachthof continue to stand behind the concept, which has been very well received by many visitors. For both sides, the collaboration has been thoroughly positive, characterised by mutual support and team spirit, which is why we are particularly sad that it cannot be continued.
However, we now want to tackle the new situation with the same team spirit: we are looking for professional restaurateurs who want to take over the fully equipped and ready-to-go restaurant.
We are open to different concepts! It is important to us that the restaurant fits in with us as a cultural centre, that all our visitors are welcome and that there is openness to cooperation around our events. If you have any ideas, please get in touch!
